Many of our active and retired servicemen and servicewomen are still in need of assistance despite the support being given by the United States government. The number of our veterans – 19.5 million as of the latest estimate (2016 U.S. Census’ American Community Survey) – is still too many for the limited resources that the government could provide for them.
This is the reason why we at Veteran Car Donations are exerting our best effort to generate more funds for the benefit of our struggling veterans through our nationwide car donation programs.
Here in this place, we have set up our Spring, Texas car donations program to encourage residents to donate their old and unwanted vehicles to support our cause of transforming the lives of our nation’s heroes.
Our veterans face many tough hurdles in their quest to live normal and productive lives. To address these problems, we at Veteran Car Donations have partnered with several certified 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations such as Homes For Our Troops, Soldiers’ Angels, Serving Veterans, Inc., and Heroes on the Water.
We raise funds through auto donations for veterans – such as our Spring, Texas car donations program — on behalf of our partner non-profits to finance their charity programs that address the needs of our nation’s heroes. These non-profits provide our veterans the following services:

- Building mortgage free, specially-adapted housing for those who were severely injured in combat

Spring is a census-designated place (CDP) within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of Houston in Harris County, Texas. Its population was 54,298 at the 2010 census. There were 2,832 veterans in the area as of 2016, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Of these, roughly 23% suffer from some form of disability, while more than 4% live in poverty. Our Quick and Easy Car Donation Process
We designed our Spring, Texas car donations process to be quick and easy so that our busy donors would save time and effort. There are only three easy steps to get your car towed for free:
Step 1:
Visit our website and fill out the online vehicle donation form. You may also contact us at 877-594-5822. One of our friendly donation specialists will assist you through the process. We will ask for your vehicle’s information such as its make and model, your preferred time and date for pick-up, and your vehicle’s pick-up location.
Step 2: Â
After verifying the information you provided, we will make arrangements with a professional tow company to pick up your car. We will pay the towing fee. The tow company will then pick up your vehicle on the date, time, and place you specified. The towing company will give you a tow receipt showing that your vehicle was picked up. This releases you from all liability on the car you donated from that point onward. You can now de-register your vehicle, dispose of your license plates properly, and cancel your insurance coverage. That receipt also allows you to take the minimum tax deduction without further paperwork.
Step 3:
We sell your car at auction. Within 30 days after the sale of your car, we will mail you your 100 percent tax-deductible sales receipt, indicating your donated vehicle’s final selling price. This will serve as the basis of your tax deduction claim when you file your itemized federal tax return for the next tax-filing season.
