The Process of Making Georgia Boat Donations
When you donate a boat to us here in Georgia, you may be surprised at how straight up and simple our donation process is. This will not take much of your time.
On top of that, we are going to be doing everything for you! You are not going to do any paperwork or look for a cheap local towing company because we will do all of those things that need to be done. And all of these come at no cost to you!
Here is our quick and easy Georgia boat donations process:
You only have to do one thing: Contact us. You can start by filling out our online donation form. If you want to talk to us, you can do so by calling us at 877-594-5822. You will need to provide us a few details about yourself and the boat you’re donating. After which, we’ll agree on a schedule for your boat’s pickup.
When the day arrives, a tow truck will pick up and tow away your boat. You are not even required to be there during the pickup. You don’t also have to pay for the towing services because that’s on us. You will receive from us a donation receipt that will enable you to cancel your boat’s registration and insurance coverage.
After we have towed your boat, it will be put up for auction. Once your boat is sold, the proceeds will be handed out to our reliable military and veteran nonprofit partners. Â This will enable them to sustain and even expand their services to our veterans.
Within 30 days, you will get a tax-deductible sales receipt from the mail. You will need this in claiming your tax deduction when you file your federal income tax return.

What Types of Boats and Vehicles You Can Donate

We accept different types of watercraft in our Georgia boat donations program. We gladly accept sailing boats, fishing boats, motorboats, houseboats, yachts, jet skis, and many others. You don’t need to bother getting a trailer. We have a trailer if you don’t have one.
We also accept other types of vehicles. You can also donate old cars, SUVs, trucks, vans, or motorcycles. We also welcome campers, trailers, motor homes, and 5-wheelers. We also accept specialty vehicles like ATVs, golf carts, tractors, and snowmobiles. The condition of those vehicles won’t even matter to us as long as they still have potential cash values.
