With Your Car Donations, You Can Enable Our Veterans to Gain Financial Literacy that Will Improve Their Lives

Our veterans face a host of challenges after getting discharged from the military following their return home from overseas deployment. These challenges include unemployment, poverty, and homelessness. All of these may be due to a lack of financial literacy. Since many of them are not too knowledgeable about handling finances, they return home having debts to settle. Some of them may even be forced to pay their bills by securing high-interest loans.

Authorities have pointed out that veterans are more likely to experience major financial troubles compared to other demographic sectors. Unequipped with budget planning know-how, many of our retired troops find it difficult to keep up with a normal life. Worse, some end up penniless and homeless.

What’s supposed to be a happy ending for our former military personnel after surviving the dangers of war becomes a continuing struggle as they deal with financial problems due to lack of financial literacy.
