How Does the Donation Process Work?
Donating your vehicle to Veteran Car Donations is simple and straightforward. With three quick steps, you can donate your vehicle and receive a tax benefit, all while supporting local veterans.

Step 1: Call or click
Call us at 877-594-5822 to share basic information about yourself and your vehicle. You can also fill out our online donation form here to donate online.
Step 2: Schedule your vehicle pickup
After you provide the information we need, we will verify it and return your call the same day. We will ask you to set a date, time, and place for your free vehicle pickup. You do not need to be present at the pickup site as long as you let us know where to find your keys and title.
Once we pick up your vehicle, we will give you a towing receipt that releases you from all liabilities on your donated vehicle. You can then cancel your insurance coverage and DMV registration.
Step 3: Receive your tax-deductible receipt
Once your vehicle has been auctioned off, we will send your tax-deductible sales receipt by mail. You will need this to claim your tax deduction when you file your itemized federal income tax return.
