Problem: Disability and homelessness are making life very difficult for many of our veterans. Returning home with a serious injury is causing depression among our retired troops. Soldiers who suffered serious injuries are not able to work and end up living on the streets.

La Habra, California is in the northwest corner of Orange County. The name La Habra refers to the “Pass through the Hills,” a pass through the Puente Hills. It was discovered by Spanish explorers of Portola expedition in 1769.
The City of La Habra was founded in 1896. The first post office of the town was established in 1898. La Habra is known for its rich artistic culture, and this is displayed in the Children’s Museum and La Habra Historical Museum.
