These soldiers have subsequently been discharged from the service and are now facing great difficulty in transitioning to civilian life. For many of these new veterans, the main problem is their inability to find jobs that could provide for their needs and those of their family. Some do not get to receive benefits at all after their applications for these benefits get rejected for one reason or another.
Many of them can’t find suitable jobs because they lack educational requirements, having enlisted in the military when they were still in high school and as such had no college background. They also can’t find use for their military background in a civilian society.
Worse, some incurred service-related physical disabilities and mental disorders such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and depression.

Some of these veterans have fallen deep into poverty and have become homeless in their own country, forced to beg passersby on the sidewalks for food, money, clothes, medicine, and shelter.
These veterans, these heroes who fought to preserve our country’s liberties and protect our security, now badly need assistance just to survive.
That’s the reason why we at Veteran Car Donations are intensifying our fund-generation campaign all over the country for the benefit of our veterans. This releases you from all liability from that point forward. You can now de-register your vehicle, dispose of your license plates properly, and cancel your insurance coverage. That receipt also allows you to take the minimum tax deduction without further paperwork.
- Receive your tax-deductible sale receipt.
Wait for your 100-percent tax-deductible sale receipt. We will mail this to you within days after the sale of your car at auction. The receipt will indicate your donated vehicle’s final selling price. This will serve as the basis of your tax deduction claim when you file your itemized federal tax return. If your vehicle was sold for less than $500, you are eligible to take a deduction of the fair market value of the vehicle up to $500 without further documentation. If your vehicle was sold for more than $500, you can claim the exact amount as your tax deduction.
