Walt Disney appreciates the sacrifices our troops have been making to protect our country and preserve our freedoms. For this reason, the company has dedicated its Disney Armed Forces Salute Program to honor the men and women of the United States Armed Forces together with their families by offering them big discounts at Disney-themed parks, cruises, and select Disney hotels. All military personnel — whether retired or active duty — are eligible for Disney military promotional tickets, which are available until December 15th, 2023.
Disney Discounts, Special Offers, and Deals for Service Members and Their Families
Wondering what the Disney Armed Forces Salute Program has in store for qualified individuals in 2023? Veteran Car Donations has compiled the following details:
- Disney tickets
One of the highlights of Disney’s military discounts is the reduced price for Park Hopper tickets in Disney World. Disneyland in Orlando, Florida, offers 4-day and 5-day theme park pass tickets for $439 and $369 plus taxes, respectively. Meanwhile, 3-day and four-day passes are available in Anaheim, California, priced at $245 and $280, respectively.
Additionally, service members can upgrade their Park Hopper tickets to Park Hopper Plus. Guests can access multiple Disney theme parks and water parks through the latter. Tickets for Park Hopper Plus are available for $379 for the 4-day pass and $399 for the 5-day pass.
- Walt Disney hotels
You can book a room at select Walt Disney hotels at a discounted rate. However, you’ll want to book in advance because the number of discounted rooms is limited. You’ll also need to book for a specific number of days before you can use the military discount.
Since prices vary depending on the season, there’s no sure way of knowing exactly how much you’ll pay for the hotel. However, discounted rates usually range from 30% to 40% off the regular room rate. It’s also important to note that only select Disney World hotels honor military discounts. Full room rates are in effect at the following Disney hotels and resorts:
- Caribbean Beach Resort
- Pop Century Resort
- Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Copper Creek Villas & Cabins
- The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
- Moderate and Deluxe Resort hotels
- Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort Campsites
- Little Mermaid Standard Rooms at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
- Bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
- Memory Maker
You may want to purchase Disney’s Memory Maker, a photo package that includes all of the photos from your trip, whether that’s a single day or 10 days. Professional Disney PhotoPass photographers take pictures of visitors in various attractions, which are then downloaded to the Memory Maker.
The regular price for the Memory Maker is $199. However, military members can get the Memory Maker for $98 until December 15th, 2023. You can only use the military discount for up to two purchases, either by yourself or your spouse.
