Wakefield is a town that remembers. From the quiet strength of our veterans to the community spirit that fills the Common, we honor service not just with ceremonies – but with action. If you’ve got a vehicle you’re no longer using, donating it through Veteran Car Donations is one of the most meaningful ways to give back and help a veteran rebuild right here in Middlesex County.

Whether your SUV’s been parked near Lake Quannapowitt or your old sedan’s sitting idle in Greenwood, that vehicle can become a lifeline. We work with local towing partners who know Wakefield’s layout – from historic neighborhoods to tucked-away driveways – so pickup is quick, respectful, and completely free.

Let’s turn your unused vehicle into a symbol of Wakefield’s enduring commitment to those who’ve served.

Why Wakefield Residents Choose to Give Back

Wakefield is built on tradition, pride, and service. With many residents connected to Hanscom Air Force Base, the Massachusetts National Guard, and local veteran organizations, supporting those who’ve served is part of our shared values. Donating your car helps fund programs that provide housing, job training, and transportation for veterans – right here in our own neighborhoods.

Whether you’re near the Veterans Memorial Common or passing by the American Legion Post 63, reminders of sacrifice and strength are woven into our town’s fabric. Your donation continues that legacy.

Wakefield Neighborhoods We Proudly Serve

From lakeside homes to historic downtown blocks, Wakefield’s neighborhoods are full of character – and every donation helps write a new chapter for a veteran in need.

  • Greenwood & Montrose: Donors here often part with older vehicles tucked away in garages or driveways. Our towing partners handle pickups with care, and every donation helps veterans find peace and purpose.
  • Downtown Wakefield & Lakeside: Residents here often donate commuter cars, inherited vehicles, or second vehicles that no longer fit their lifestyle. Every donation helps veterans access transportation and job training.
  • West Side & Junction: Donors in this area often part with work trucks, older sedans, or vehicles that haven’t moved in a while. We’re equipped for larger pickups and tight residential zones, and every donation helps veterans transition into new careers and stable housing.
