You can call us at 877-594-5822 or fill out our online donation form. Share specific details about your tractor. Once we verify your information, we’ll call you back to arrange free pickup and towing. - Second step: We come for your tractor.
Our towing service is completely free, and you pick the time and date that work best for you. We’ll assign a licensed towing company to collect your tractor wherever it’s parked. You’ll receive a towing receipt on the spot, which allows you to cancel your tractor’s insurance and registration. - Third step: Check your mailbox for your tax-deductible receipt.
Every tractor donation is 100-percent tax-deductible because the proceeds go to our IRS-approved nonprofit partners. Within 30 days after your tractor sells, we’ll send you a tax-deductible sales receipt. Use it to claim your tax incentives during the next tax season.

In most cases, we accept vehicles even if they are damaged or no longer run. As long as there’s some cash value, we’ll take them.
Can I Donate My Tractor Even If It Doesn’t Run?
Yes, you can absolutely donate your tractor even if it’s not running. At Veteran Car Donations, we accept tractors in almost any condition. Whether your tractor has mechanical issues, cosmetic damage or is completely non-functional, we’ll gladly take it off your hands. Your non-running tractor still holds value, as we auction it to generate funding for veteran-focused nonprofit programs. Simply provide us with honest details about your tractor’s condition when you reach out, and we’ll handle the rest, including free towing from your preferred location.
When Will I Receive My Tax Receipt After Donating My Tractor?
You’ll receive your tax-deductible receipt within 30 days after your tractor is sold at auction. Once the sale is complete, we’ll mail or email you the receipt showing the final selling price of your tractor. This amount determines the tax deduction you’re eligible to claim on your itemized federal income tax return. Keep this receipt in a safe place to ensure you can use it during the next tax season.
