When donating a truck, we usually require the title. However, in some states, a title is not necessary for vehicle donations. Even if you don’t have the title, you may still be able to donate. Call us any time for clarification.

Can You Explain the Donation Process Step-By-Step?

Donating your vehicle is quick and stress-free. First, contact us either by filling out our secure online donation form or by calling our hotline. You’ll provide a few basic details about your vehicle, such as its make, model, year condition. Second, once we confirm your information, we’ll schedule a free pickup or towing service at a time that works best for you. Whether your vehicle runs or not, we’ll handle the transport.

Third, when we collect your vehicle, we’ll issue you a donation receipt. This document frees you from all liability and allows you to claim a tax deduction. Finally, your vehicle will be sold at auction the proceeds will go directly to support programs for veterans in need.

What if I Can’t Find My Title? Can I Still Donate?

In many cases, yes, you can still donate even without the title. Requirements vary from state to state, but in some areas, alternative documents such as registration papers or a bill of sale may be enough. In other cases, you may need to request a duplicate title through your state’s Department of Motor Vehicles. If you’re unsure, give us a call and our team will walk you through the process. What Should I Do with the License Plates?

License plate rules depend on your state. Some states require you to remove and return them to the DMV, while others allow you to transfer them to another vehicle. Before donating, check with your local DMV to confirm the exact steps.
