What Challenges Do Veterans Face?
As our nation’s troops return home from duty, they often have a hard time transitioning to civilian life. It’s not uncommon for veterans to face new obstacles that are more difficult than those they faced in the service. Adjusting to a new way of life can be overwhelming without proper assistance.
These veterans struggle to support themselves and their families because they can’t find steady work or access the government benefits they are entitled to. Many also live with service-connected physical disabilities and mental health conditions, such as:
- Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- Traumatic brain injury (TBI)
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Anger issues
For some veterans, life has become so painful that they turn to drugs or alcohol to cope. Others, overwhelmed by their circumstances, reach their breaking point. Many are left without stable housing and are forced to live on the streets, unable to meet their basic needs.
Our former servicemen and women put their lives on the line for this country. They endured hardship and made lasting sacrifices to protect our rights and our national security. Their service is invaluable, which is why they are called heroes. They deserve far better support than many receive today.
This is why Veteran Car Donations exists. Along with our nonprofit organization partners, we are committed to improving veterans’ lives by helping fill service gaps that government programs do not always cover.
We operate vehicle donation programs across the United States, including in Chino Hills, California. Eligible vehicles are auctioned, and the proceeds help our charity partners provide vital services to veterans in the area.Â

How Do I Get Started With the Donation Process?
We designed our Chino Hills, California, car donations program with our donors at the forefront. The process is fast, simple, and broken down into just three easy steps:
To get started, fill out our online donation form or call us at 877-594-5822. We’ll ask for the following information:
- Your contact information
- Your car’s year, make, model, and mileage, and VIN
- Condition (in running condition or not)
- Title availability
Once we review and confirm your information, we’ll determine whether we can take your vehicle. If so, we’ll arrange a professional towing company to pick up your vehicle. At pickup, you’ll receive a tow receipt that releases you from further vehicle liability. It also allows you to cancel your insurance coverage and registration for the donated vehicle.
After your car is sold at auction, we’ll mail you a tax-deductible sales receipt showing the final selling price. This is the amount you’ll use when claiming your deduction on your next itemized federal income tax return.
We serve residents throughout the area, including Chino, Ontario, Pomona, and beyond.
